Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Nori Cap ("we," "us") collects through noricap.com and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to pa@noricap.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist or request a partner call
- Your email address, and anything else you choose to give us, such as your name, firm, firm type, number of clients, annual revenue band and accounting system.
- Whether you signed up for your own company or for your clients.
- How you found us: the referring website or campaign tags in the link you followed.
- The question you send us, if you use the "Ask one question" form.
When you visit the site
Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability. We also use website analytics; see "Cookies and analytics" below.
If you become a customer
When you connect an accounting system, we request read-only access to financial records such as your general ledger, invoices, bills and bank and card transactions. You authorize that connection through your accounting provider's own sign-in, and we never receive your password. Customer data is also governed by the agreement you sign with us.
How we use it
- To manage the waitlist, contact you when your spot opens, and respond to partner requests.
- To deliver the Profit Checkup and any services you sign up for.
- To understand which channels bring visitors and improve the site.
- To keep the site and our services secure and to meet legal obligations.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information or your financial data.
- We don't share one customer's financial data with another customer.
- We don't move money, post or change accounting entries, or file anything on your behalf.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run Nori Cap, such as website hosting and form handling (Netlify), email, and, for customers, the data-connection and cloud providers needed to read and analyze your records. They may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or acquisition of our business.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. It sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Retention and deletion
We keep waitlist and partner information until you ask us to delete it or we no longer need it. Customer financial data is kept for as long as you use the service and then deleted, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. To delete your information, email pa@noricap.com.
We email waitlist members about their spot and about Nori Cap. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can reply to ask us to stop.
Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. Email us and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Nori Cap is a business service and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site or sent by email.
